German-born craftsman, Horst Schrader, came to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1987. While in Santa Fe he learned the fundamentals of silversmithing from a Native American jeweler. Refining his skills through apprenticeships, Horst quickly discovered that he could combine life-long interest in hand-crafts and engineering to create a new medium.
He moved to Los Angeles where he worked for a high-end western store creating custom buckles and began developing, designing and manufacturing his own line. Once his business was launched he returned to Santa Fe where he lives today.
Horst uses only best sterling silver and hand finishes every piece himself to insure excellence and uniqueness in his final product.
