- Individually Numbered Limited Edition of 100
- Super Sharp ZDP-189 Steel Blade
- Sapphire Gemstones on Button Lock and Thumb Stud
- Distinctive Japanese Mokume Gane Pattern
The Monarch "Painted Butte" features an inlaid 10,000 year-old Woolly Mammoth tooth fossil around which the Japanese Mokume Gane technique gives a distinctive two-tone twist pattern. The blade is made from ZDP-189: A powder metal die steel that yields the sharpest cutting edge in the industry, with a distinctive wave pattern. The one hand button lock and the thumb stud are both set with a sapphire gemstone.
The button locks the blade open securely and detents the blade closed, keeping the blade secure in the handle. This allows the user to open the blade easily with one hand using the thumb stud. The knife comes with a lanyard system for carrying, a leather case and an elegant wood presentation box.
All handmade items are unique and may have a slight variation in appearance.
