The Kestrel 'Sea Squall' is a highly exclusive and sought-after knife. Its frame is hand-forged 'Raindrop' mokume gane, made from the feudal Japanese technique of fusing steel, with black-lip mother of pearl scale inlays. The blade is hand-forged 'Raindrop' Damascus steel, made from an ancient technique of layering steel on top of itself to make it stronger. Finally, the one-hand button lock and the thumb stud are set with smoky quartz gemstones.
The Kestrel is a compact and versatile folding knife that works and presents beautifully in any situation; the design, which offers a deep finger groove where the handle meets the blade, makes this knife remarkably comfortable in the hand while being very small and easy to carry. This knife is shipped in an elegant William Henry wood presentation box, and it includes a pocket clip-case made from soft, genuine leather, with an integrated stainless steel pocket clip
